Star TSP100 Series: Enable ESC/POS Mode
This guide walks you through changing the emulation mode on Star TSP100 series printers to ESC/POS mode, which is required for compatibility with Chompy POS.
Step 1: Download the FuturePRNT Software
Download and install the TSP100 FuturePRNT Software from Star Micronics. This utility allows you to configure your printer settings including emulation mode.

Step 2: Add the Printer to Windows
Before you can change the emulation mode, you need to add the TSP100 printer to your Windows system. Follow the official Star Micronics guide for your connection type (Ethernet or Wi-Fi). (Ethernet or Wi-Fi).

Step 3: Change the Emulation Mode
Once the printer is installed and the FuturePRNT software is ready, you can change the emulation mode to ESC/POS. This ensures the printer communicates correctly with Chompy POS.
